I am Sharon M. Dejarme, from the Philippines. I am currently participating in a 5-month International Leaders in Education Program (ILEP) in the United States of America through the International Research and Exchange Board funded by the US Department of State. I had been selected to participate in ILEP courses, Internship through US classroom observations at SENECA High School and attend university audit courses in Clemson University Clemson South Carolina. Back home in my country, I teach Science subjects particularly MicroBiology, Science Research and Molecular Biology and Genetics as well as Environmental Science in one of the 14 campuses of the Philippine Science High System (PSHSS). I have been teaching in Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao Campus (PSHSSMC) Davao City for eight year. I am actively involved in the conceptualization, planning and implementation of the very first Philippine International Science Fair (PISF). In addition, I commit my free time to volunteer in outreach programs of the school, chuch and community in outreach programs focused on teacher development, research and environmental programs.
